Use Base's integrations with Slack to push messages from Base to Slack, and vice versa, to make organizing information easier, simpler, and more intuitive.
Base currently has two separate integrations with Slack: BaseHQ and Inbox by Base.

Slack and Base
Slack is a messaging app that connects people to the information they need, bringing people together to work as one unified team.
From Slack, push messages into Base to quickly capture inputs as they flow in. Review the messages in Base Inbox without losing context, then convert them into project tasks, follow up questions, contact details, or custom notes, for as many executives as you support.
From Base, push messages into Slack to quickly share information or questions with executives and eliminate back and forth. Schedule send messages with executive briefs, decision streams, itineraries, and more, so your messages arrive at the best time.
Requirements for installation
You must have a Base account.
The Base for Slack integrations are available to all Slack plans.
Set up the Slack integration in Base
For pushing messages from Slack into Base Inbox
In Base, navigate to User Settings.
Click Inbox, then the Slack tab.
Authenticate your desired Slack workspace. Upon completion, Base displays your connected Slack workspace details.
Switch on the toggle for Forward saved items to Inbox.
Sharing a workspace with other users? Each user needs to authenticate their own Slack workspace to use Base Inbox.
For pushing messages from Base into Slack
In Base, navigate to the Workspace Settings for your desired workspace.
Click Integrations and scroll to Slack.
Authenticate your desired Slack workspace. Upon completion, Base displays your connected Slack workspace details.
Select a channel or user to whom messages are delivered by default. This can be left blank. The default recipient can also be changed when preparing to send a message.
Have multiple workspaces in Base? Authenticate your desired Slack workspace for each workspace in Base.
How to push messages from Slack to Base Inbox
In your desired Slack message, click the bookmark icon for "Add to saved items".
In Base, navigate to Inbox, where you can view and organize the message item.
How to push messages from Base to Slack
You can push a message to Slack containing a Base digest.
In Base, navigate to Digest Builder, and load your desired digest.
Click Preview & Send.
In the modal, click the Slack tab. Select a recipient, add an optional message, and select Send Now or Schedule For Later.
Depending on your selected send option, click Send It or Schedule It. Base delivers the message to your recipient in Slack.
You can also push a message to Slack containing a Base decision stream.
In Base, navigate to Decision Stream.
Select your desired questions, then click Share.
In the modal, click the Slack tab. Select a recipient, add an optional message, and select Send Now or Schedule For Later.
Name the group of questions if desired.
Depending on your selected send option, click Send It or Schedule It. Base delivers the message to your recipient in Slack.
Revoke the Slack integration in Base
For pushing messages from Slack into Base Inbox
In Base, navigate to User Settings to revoke the integration for pushing messages from Slack to Base Inbox.
Click Inbox, then the Slack tab.
Click Revoke to revoke the Slack integration for Inbox by Base.
For pushing messages from Base into Slack
Navigate to Workspace Settings for your desired workspace to revoke the integration for pushing messages from Base to Slack.
Click Integrations and scroll to Slack.
Click Revoke.
Repeat steps in each workspace for which you wish to revoke the Slack integration for BaseHQ.
